Making a claim on my insurance following a prang.

I received a call from an Asian woman who seemed rather inquisitive about my personal life, so I decided it was best to cut the conversation short and subsequently blocked her number.

I had a rather bewildering encounter with a woman from an Asian company whose name still escapes me. Despite her efforts to clearly articulate it, I just couldn’t grasp what she was saying. After explaining that I was on the job and could only take work-related calls, I made the decision to block the number.

I received a call from a chap named Martin, but I couldn’t quite grasp what he was on about. He mentioned wanting to ask me some questions, but I politely declined, and he promptly hung up. I've since added the number to my block list.

I've had a couple of calls from this number previously, and they never bother to leave a voicemail. I'm guessing it’s just another dodgy scam trying to get my attention!

Today has been rather hectic; I've found myself needing to block four unfamiliar callers already! It seems like they’re particularly active following the bank holiday. No tolerance for nuisance calls—blocked them all!

Received a call referencing an address from yonks ago—I went along with it. They claimed to be my energy supplier, spouting all sorts of balderdash. In the end, I discovered I didn’t fit the criteria for anything, being a prepay bankrupt pensioner residing in a tiny bedsit. Cheers for that! 😊

I chose not to pick up, but later attempted to ring back earlier today. To my surprise, it greeted me with a "welcome to I Love My Office." Quite peculiar, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number. Definitely sounds dodgy to me!

I received a call from a woman named Julie, or at least that's what she said. But frankly, I'm not buying it, not for a second. Accident? Surely not. No interest in whatever nonsense she was peddling. Apologies to Julie or whatever her full name is, but I'm afraid you've been blocked.

Received a call from a number I didn't recognise. Gave it a miss. Judging by other people's remarks, it appears to be a scammer. I've since blocked the number.

Just had a call from an automated dialler linked to some dodgy scammers. Straight away, I’ve put a block on the number!

This number doesn't actually belong to Abingdon; it merely shares the same area code. It's one of those dodgy setups where they lease the code in hopes of getting a response from you. It's clearly an automated dialling system. I've gone ahead and blocked it.

I received a call from a supposed insurance firm inquiring whether I had been part of a recent road accident. The truth is, I've not had any such incident.

It was merely a robocall! When I picked up the phone and greeted the caller, all I got in response was a mechanical voice that simply said goodbye! What a strange encounter!

I decided not to pick up since the majority of mysterious numbers I encounter begin with 012. I've now put them on my blocked list.

Had a call from a number I didn’t recognise - decided to give it a miss and ultimately opted to block it.

I was prompted to respond to three straightforward questions, but they needed to confirm my identity first. He mentioned an address where I haven't resided for over a decade. Upon informing him that he was mistaken, he insisted that I provide my current address and postcode. When I declined to do so, he got quite irate and started to argue. I've since blocked the number!

Received a call from an unfamiliar number in Abingdon. They didn’t pick up, so I reckon I'll just honour their privacy and let it be. Likely some sort of PPI nonsense or similar.

I received a call from them just now, but as soon as I picked up, they cut off. I do wonder if they’re enjoying themselves!
