Got a call from 01235874537 a bit ago, left a message saying they were from TalkTalk class 2. Total scam, we don’t even use TalkTalk. Might as well be in infant class 1 the way they’re tryin it. If they expect me to fall for that, nah. Proper dodgy people, probably from abroad. Number’s blocked now. Jake.

Somebody said they were from Verso group and tried to do a survey. I just ended the call straight away.

I said, "Can I ask who this is?" She replied, "I never ask for money." The lady spoke with a strong foreign accent, and I couldn’t quite make out the rest. I answered, "I don’t know you, not interested," and ended the call since it seemed like another dodgy scam. The ring was on my mobile.

If you get a call, you can tell them, under GDPR, to delete your number from their records. Also, let them know if they call back, you’ll consider taking legal action for harassment and might sue the company since they don’t have your consent to contact you.

Honestly, I kinda enjoy those scam calls. There’s something oddly satisfying about them. It’s the rare moment I get to just cut someone off, or tell them to shove it, without feeling awkward. Sometimes I just stay silent and listen for a good couple of minutes. Give it a go before you block, it’s actually pretty calming and good for mental chill-out!

They called saying it was for a survey and then wanted to verify an address I haven’t lived at for ages. When I told them, they asked for my current address. I asked why they needed that info and they just cut me off. Best to not pick up and just block them.
