I received a recorded message claiming they were from BT, informing me that my internet would be cut off due to various IT issues and potential hacking. They urged me to press 5 for assistance. Clearly, it’s just a scam!

Had a call from 01235874537 a moment ago, and they left a message claiming to be from TalkTalk. Rubbish! We’re not even customers of theirs. Honestly, it's laughable how they think they can pull a fast one like this. If they're going to attempt to scam, they should at least be in beginner's level! Utterly ridiculous! I received a call from a survey firm inquiring about my utility provider and my employment status. Honestly, I found it quite challenging to grasp what the staff were saying. As a result, I've decided to block the number.

Based on the feedback from others who've received calls from this number, it seems to be linked to a company called Verso, although I can't verify that myself. When I picked up, there was a prolonged silence before a voice eventually said "hello". They didn’t identify themselves, so I decided to hang up. I've since blocked the number.

I'm inundated with these phone calls lately. They always inquire if I’m speaking to Mrs ###, but there's no one on the other end when I answer. I've managed to block the number, yet it appears that similar calls are on the rise. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

I find those Verso phone surveys incredibly irritating; they simply won't leave me alone!

I’ve added this number to my blocked list, all thanks to the insights shared here. It appears to be based in Abingdon, though I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s been taken over by someone else. I’ve noticed a few comments praising the area, so I might just pay a visit sometime!

Received a call from a lot of chaps representing the "Braser? group" who claimed they needed to carry out a swift survey. However, they promptly disconnected when I began to query them further. Seems like many others have noticed they're just after personal details—I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

I'm quite sceptical that this call genuinely originates from Abingdon. It seems far more likely to be a spoofed number or perhaps even hijacked.

To be frank, I haven't the foggiest idea who that could have been. I don't have any acquaintances in Abingdon; however, I must admit, I've visited the place before and it's rather lovely.
