As soon as I picked up, they disconnected. Ever since I listed something for sale on Gumtree and a few other online platforms, the calls have been flooding in.

Received a call from someone posing as a representative of Virgin Media, claiming there was an issue with my modem and that it was supposedly sending error alerts. Then they went on to inquire about the number of devices I had connected. It was clear as day that it was a scam attempt.

Received a call on our home phone at the crack of dawn, around 7am, but my fiancé didn’t pick it up. Funny enough, I placed an order for a mobile at Carphone Warehouse just last week and I'm still awaiting its arrival. Oddly enough, I’m pretty certain I didn't provide them with our home phone number.

I received a call from 01235300024 at 12:50 PM on 3rd November 2021. When I picked up, they just hung up without saying a word. I'm quite suspicious of this number, so I've decided to block it. Sounds like a scam to me!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me a deal. I asked them to delete my information, but they persisted in pitching the offer. I had to insist multiple times—twice and then a third—before they finally agreed to remove my details. Quite frustrating, really!

I received a dodgy call purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse. They proposed settling my current contract and providing either a Samsung S21 or an iPhone 12, all for a mere £30 a month with unlimited everything! All they needed were my credit history and bank details. Honestly, if it seems too good to be genuine, it probably is!

Yesterday, I received a total of six calls between 14:27 and 18:15. They didn’t leave any messages, but it’s apparent this individual is quite tenacious. I’ve made the decision not to pick up for this caller or any other relentless ones, all thanks to the information you’ve provided!

Just today, they attempted to ring me three times, yet every single time they hung up as soon as my answering machine started. It's quite clear this is a dodgy scam.

Received six calls from this number today. I didn’t pick up, but out of curiosity, I decided to return the call. To my surprise, the message said, “the number you’re trying to reach is not available.” Quite baffling, really!

I received two calls within half an hour, but they didn't bother to leave a voicemail. When I listened to the answering machine, I noticed some odd background chatter that reminded me of a call centre environment. The second call was utterly silent, which only adds to the mystery.

They just rang me – I missed the call and they hung up! I've now realised this marks the fourth time they’ve tried to get through to me today alone. I really don't have any dealings or acquaintances in Abingdon whatsoever!
