I received a call from 01235300023 claiming they were giving a 20% reduction on O2 bills. Sounded rather dodgy to me!

Mysterious number – tried to find out who it is, but they’re not picking up.

Claimed to be from O2, but honestly, I could hardly make out what he was on about, and there was a noticeable delay in his replies. I pointed out that this isn’t the number O2 usually contacts me from, and when I pressed him about his affiliation, he hesitated before replying with a vague ‘yes, O2’. I’m absolutely convinced this is a scam. No doubt about it!

Received a call purportedly from O2, promising a 30% discount. However, they insisted on confirming my current monthly payment, which struck me as rather peculiar – surely they should have that info at hand? I explained I wasn’t in a position to discuss financial matters, and this seemed to throw him off a bit, prompting him to up his volume slightly. It was at this juncture that I decided it was best to hang up.

My spam filter promptly tagged this dubious call as spam and shut it down. It supposedly originates from O2.

He introduced himself as "Peter from O2." I replied, "O2?" He insisted, "Indeed, sir... Aren't you affiliated with O2?" At that point, I decided to terminate the call. I'm definitely not an O2 customer.

Received a couple of dubious calls on my mobile today, both with a perplexing sort of delay as if a real person were on the line. Quite irritating, really! Thankfully, Vodafone flagged them as spam, so I didn’t bother answering. It’s frustrating how these automated calls can trick you into thinking there’s a real conversation about to happen!

As soon as I ended my call, I received a ring from: 01226 822021 in Barnsley. I also got two calls from 01241 333035 in Arbroath, Scotland.

Received a call from someone purporting to be with the Carphone Warehouse's promotional squad, saying I could snag an iPhone 12 Pro for a mere £35 a month! How dodgy is that?! Total scam alert!

I received a call from this number and honestly, I couldn't make heads or tails of what the caller was chattering on about. I kindly requested that they articulate themselves better, but their attitude turned rather unpleasant, prompting me to cut the conversation short. Later, I dialled the same number and a young lady picked up. Once again, I struggled to comprehend her words. Eventually, I gathered that it was a trading firm. I was instructed to submit my details in writing for further correspondence. Quite the hassle, really!

I reside in the Netherlands, and I keep receiving calls from this number a couple of times daily, five days a week. I have no idea who they are, so I choose to avoid answering. Yet, they persist without fail!
