Received a call from a number I didn't recognise. They didn't bother to leave a voicemail, so I've gone ahead and blocked them.

01235 300014 – I’ve chosen not to pick up calls from this number. After doing a bit of research on this website, I’ve decided to add it to my block list.

I received no response.

Received three calls from this number that I chose to ignore. Most likely another group of scammers operating from abroad.

Received a call on my mobile - it was an American voice but quite muddled. The caller didn’t respond when I picked up. The phone flagged it as a possible scam from Abingdon, so I’ve removed it from my records.

I've received a notification from Amazon about an iPhone supposedly linked to my account, but I don't actually possess an Amazon account at all!

Both times I called, I was met with nothing but silence. Decided to ring back using another phone with my number hidden, but they kept turning me away after just a few rings. Definitely a scam!

I received a call from someone named Rehan who claimed to be representing the Carephone Warehouse in the UK, but judging by his accent, I reckon he's actually based in India. It seems quite likely he's somehow obtained my phone number through dodgy means, as this whole thing smacks of a scam. Be wary, folks!

I received a call about a phone upgrade along with a rather generous 30% discount. However, when I expressed my disinterest, the caller's tone changed drastically; he began to raise his voice at me! Before I knew it, the call was abruptly cut off. I'm really left wondering if this was a genuine Carphone Warehouse representative or something less trustworthy, given his aggressive reaction.

I had a right muppet on the line claiming he was from Carphone Warehouse. I told him to bog off straight away. He sounded rather taken aback by my response!

Clearly, it’s just another dodgy scam call.

I've been receiving similar calls claiming that I’ve placed an order for an iPhone 7, priced at £399, through my Amazon account. The strange part is, I don’t even have an Amazon account! When I mentioned this to them, they abruptly cut the call. Quite peculiar, isn’t it?

Received a call from this number earlier today, and I also had another missed call from another Abingdon number. Both times, it was just a silent line before they hung up without uttering a word. Quite strange, really!

I attempted to return the call but it didn't go through, which had me a bit worried since Abingdon is quite close by.

Received a call from someone purporting to be with Phonehouse, trying to chat with me about some sort of promotion. They were pushing the idea of complimentary iPhones, which sounded a bit dodgy. The chap on the line was quite impolite, almost insisting on why I wasn’t jumping at the chance for a free device. Total scammers, if you ask me!

The phone rang, but by the time I reached for it, the caller had already abandoned the line.

I picked up the phone, and after a brief moment, a female voice came through—there was a faint noise in the background, almost like a television blaring away. She kept repeating "hello, hello," and then asked if I could hear her. I instinctively shouted back, asking who was on the line. She mentioned a company I'd never even heard of, which struck me as odd, so I simply ended the call and made sure to block the number.

As soon as I picked up, they disconnected the call. I've since added the number to my blocked list.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Amazon, inquiring whether I'd placed an order for an iPhone 11, which, of course, I haven't. I think I'll go ahead and report this to Amazon and see what they make of it.

I received a cheeky phone call touting an unbelievable offer on the latest iPhone, claiming to be from Three. The ironic part? That’s not even my network! When I told the chap to take me off their calling list and not to bother me again, he had the audacity to ask, "What if I ring you again?" Seriously? Just block the number—definitely a dodgy scam going on here!

I've received a message stating that someone is using my internet connection for fraudulent activities linked to Virgin Media, which is puzzling since I don’t even subscribe to their services! What a mix-up!

Allegedly, this number is supposedly linked to the national insurance office. Absolute nonsense! No one I know has ever encountered this. It seems you're the only one receiving these calls!

I received a phone call from someone who claimed to be representing O2, claiming they could provide me with a discount on my contract. When I mentioned that I wasn’t an O2 customer, the line abruptly went dead. I decided to ring back, mainly out of curiosity, but surprise, surprise – there was no answer at all.

I had a chap on the line claiming to represent Curry’s PCWorld, touting some rather enticing offers on mobile and internet contracts.

Utterly dubious! They attempted to fish for my banking information.

I returned the call and discovered they're operating under the name 'Quick Converse Solutions'. They advised me to drop them an email if I wish to cease the marketing messages.
