10 yearsI received a call from this company, and when I answered, they asked for my partner by name. Then, they suddenly claimed that there were numerous errors on their Windows system and wanted to know which version she was using. After that, the call was abruptly cut off. Does anyone have any thoughts on this peculiar situation?11 yearsI recently received a call from this number after checking with 1471. As I answered, I was immediate met with a peculiar ringing tone typical of Indian calls, and a gentleman with a foreign accent came on the line. He introduced himself as being from the 'Windows Service Centre' and appeared to already have my name to hand. He then proceeded to inquire if I was facing any issues with my computer. I politely declined, saying, "No, thank you ever so much!" and then he abruptly ended the call. Clearly, it was a dodgy scheme!Windows Service11 yearsI received a call from this number claiming that our computer had been sending multiple error reports to the Windows Error Reporting Centre. The caller went through some points and even managed to mention a specific error code from our device. In the end, he directed us to a website called helpingyourpc.com, trying to persuade us to sign up for their services since our warranty had lapsed. When we told him we weren't interested in paying for anything, he abruptly hung up on me! Quite a dodgy experience, to say the least!Windows Error Reporting Centrehelpingyourpc. com11 yearsI received a call from this company, and when I picked up, they immediately asked for my partner by name. Then, they went on about some issues with Windows, claiming there were numerous errors, and inquired about the version she was using. After that, the call abruptly ended. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any clues about what might be going on?11 yearsReceived a call today from a person claiming our Windows system was throwing up error messages. When we pressed for details regarding her company, she dodged the inquiry, merely saying she was associated with Windows. We pointed out that there’s no such thing as a caller claiming to be Windows. It was laughable that she didn’t even bother to claim affiliation with Microsoft. Once it became clear we weren’t biting on her scam, she hung up. Moreover, the number 01234561879 doesn’t take incoming calls. Definitely a con! Just let them know where to shove off.Microsoft11 yearsWe were nearly duped by these characters too! Has anyone got any idea on how to track these folks down and shut down their dodgy operations for good?12 yearsBe cautious of taking instructions from these individuals; it's a ruse aimed at pushing you to purchase cybersecurity products. They're not affiliated with Windows or Microsoft at all - it's simply a swindle.WindowsMicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (01234 561879)
