Fraudulent call - they claimed to be from “Microsoft.” When I expressed my suspicions about their legitimacy, I decided to terminate the call.

The line was all crackly and barely clear, and they were talking about some Microsoft problem - which was funny since I've got Apple devices!

Some bloke called saying he was from Microsoft security and said I had to turn on my PC. I wasn’t falling for it and told him no. He got quite rude after that and threatened to delete all the Microsoft software on my computer. Total scam, don’t let them fool you!

I received a rather unexpected call from this number today. They rang me not once, but twice, insisting that I jot down a code to supposedly access my files. I firmly informed him that my files had already been scanned and were perfectly fine, but he was incredibly impolite, continually demanding, "You need to listen to me!" He threatened that if I didn’t, I would be cut off from all Microsoft services. The call was marred by significant background noise, making it tough to grasp what he was on about. I reiterated that my computer was functioning without any issues! Eventually, I had enough and hung up, turning my phone off shortly after. Will they ever take a hint? I’m not holding my breath!

Received a call purporting to be from Microsoft’s security team. They insisted I needed to switch on my computer immediately. I declined their request, to which the caller responded quite impolitely, threatening that all my Microsoft services would be terminated. This is clearly a scam-don't fall for it!

So I got a call from someone who said it was about my computer. But as soon as I told them I knew it was a scam, they just ended the call right away.

Rang me up claiming to be from Microsoft regarding my computer. I had to reiterate that I didn’t actually possess any Microsoft products. They then insisted they had no alternative but to terminate my nonexistent Microsoft licence. I confirmed once more that I owned nothing related to Microsoft, which clearly irritated the caller. He threatened to sever all my Microsoft services unless I complied with his demands. The moment I requested to speak with a supervisor, he promptly hung up. Over the past fortnight, they’ve bombarded me with more than 15 calls at different times of the day. Here’s hoping they'll finally give it a rest... but I'm not too optimistic about that!

Today, I received a rather dodgy call from a woman claiming there was a virus lurking on my computer. She insisted I hit the Windows key along with the letter R so she could 'verify' my security code - quite the cheek! Naturally, I had no intention of falling for her little scam, but I decided to humour her instead. Eventually, she caught on and asked if I was just messing about and wasting her time. I couldn’t help but reply, "Absolutely, just as you’re wasting mine, cheerio!"

It's a total con, no doubt about it! Make sure to inform your phone company about that number. This is exactly the sort of trouble that arises when personal details get traded away.

I got a call from this number at 2 PM today, 29th April. All I could hear was a cacophony that resembled a bunch of kids hollering in a playground, followed by an eerie silence. Quite odd, to say the least!
