7 yearsGot a call earlier today from a woman claiming to be from Carphone W###house. She had a thick Indian accent and spoke so fast I could barely keep up. After asking her to slow down, I managed to figure out she wanted to know who I used for my Vodafone service - which honestly makes no sense at all. I wouldn't touch Vodafone with a bargepole; I'd sooner rely on tin cans and string! I’m pretty sure telling her to "no, f*ck off" wasn’t the answer she wanted. Blocked the number right away, and I’d suggest you do the same.Vodafone7 yearsThis number keeps calling me nonstop, it's really annoying. I've blocked it now and I’d recommend everyone else does too.7 yearsGot a call from some place offering a deal of 100gb data, unlimited texts and calls, plus 1000 unlimited international minutes. They also threw in a Samsung S8, 64 GB in midnight black for £15 a month on an 18 month contract. I asked them to send over the contract by email before I agreed to anything. Haven't received any email so far. Tried calling the number back and it just says the number’s no longer in service. Bit fishy if you ask me.Samsung S87 yearsSomebody called me, claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, wanting info about my phone and tarff. The call came through from India, I think. When I asked where they were actually located, the person said West London. Then I asked what the closest tube stop was, and that seemed to catch them off guard. They just went quiet and ended the call.Carphone WarehouseIndiaWest LondonTube7 yearsSaw the number and figured it was a long shot but I picked up anyway just for a laugh. They ended up hanging up on me. Blocked now.7 yearsNo message was left, pretty sure it's one of them scams.7 yearsI've just had a ringing phone moment. When I picked up and inquired who was on the other end, the woman promptly disconnected. The number in question is 01234 555678.7 yearsI just received a call from this number, but they hung up the moment I picked up. Very odd behaviour, isn't it? What’s the point of calling just to disconnect? I’m a bit worried it might be some sort of scam trying to lead to unexpected charges. The number is 01234 555678, in case anyone else has had the same experience.7 yearsA numpty claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse rang me up, supposedly from West London. When I pressed her for the name of the nearest tube station, she couldn’t give me a straight answer. It wasn't long before she ended the call in a huff when I pushed for a response! - caller: Numpty from IndiaCarphone WarehouseWest LondonIndia7 yearsI received a call today from the number 01234 555678. The individual on the other end didn’t introduce themselves or clarify the organisation they were from, leaving me quite puzzled. To top it off, their English was quite poor; I struggled to grasp what they were trying to convey. After a fair bit of coaxing, they finally revealed they were representing Car Phone Warehouse. I was taken aback! I inquired about the purpose of the call, to which he asked me about my mobile provider. Naturally, I was curious as to why he needed this information. He stated it was part of some promotional offer. Frankly, I was sceptical and had a gut feeling he was either trying to extract my personal details or simply stalling me on the line. I pressed him for an explanation on why he required such information and requested any details he might have about me. Unfortunately, he could provide no valid reasoning and just kept repeating himself. I politely instructed him to leave me be and not to ring again. It was incredibly frustrating, not to mention somewhat unsettling, that he seemed convinced of his own legitimacy. - caller: 01234 555678Car Phone Warehouse7 yearsI received a call from this number earlier today but didn’t pick up.
