They started off by pretending to be from my bank which was so dodgy. Then they claimed they didn’t have to follow the TPS rules as it wasn’t a sales call - which sounds like total rubbish. When I mentioned being on the TPS list meant I didn’t want any random calls, they just disagreed. They said being ex-directory was only to stop my number being found and that not ignoring that would mess up their data. Said ex-directory numbers are spread out evenly across different groups anyway and if they were decent analysts, they could handle it no problem. When I asked them what info they held on me, they just refused because of client confidentiality or something. They kept ringing until I had to block the number.
