Honestly, I wouldn’t trust the tips you see on here, some might be trying to con you as well. If you haven’t dialled the number yourself, best just to leave it and not bother. If you do pick up, say you’ll ring back but never use the number they give you. Instead, find the company website or official letter to get their real contact info. Don’t ever share your personal info with them. Stay careful out there, folks! 👍🙏

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, no voicemail left, so I just blocked it straight away.

They claimed to be from the council but the area code didn’t match up at all. Felt a bit off to me.

Someone phoned me asking if I was renting and if I had any black mould in the place. I said everything was fine, but mentioned there was a pothole that really needed fixing quick. He didn’t ask where I lived, so maybe he’s dealing with loads of calls right now.
