Got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank, but I don’t even have an account there. Definitely a scam trying to trick me.

Received a dodgy email that looked like it was from PayPal, trying to swindle me with a FAKE invoice. They pretended I was being billed for Norton Tech Services and wanted me to verify the payment. There was even a number included for "support." Nope, blocked straight away!

Got an email from this number 01227391234 claiming to be Geek Bill. The subject line said something about "Your one BTC is almost ready" and had a ref number 67963. Turned out to be a scam, watch out!

Got a call from a number linked to some "Geek Bill" email that supposedly came from PayPal about a BTC transaction. Pretty clear that’s a scam.

I've just received an email containing some rather dodgy information. Looks like a spam attempt - best to disregard it entirely. It claims I've made a payment of £129.99 to Binance Inc. Apparently, it might take a little while for this transaction to show up in my account. If this transaction wasn't approved by me, I'm advised to ring them straight away at +44-1227-39-1234. Watch out, everyone! Seems like a classic scam from these so-called merchants.

Similarly to what others have mentioned, this appears to be yet another dodgy scheme aiming to fish for your financial information. Best to give it a wide berth!

I received an email this morning, 5th December, regarding a suspicious PayPal transaction. The message advised me to ring this number if I encountered any issues. Clearly, it's a scam.

I sent an email response a while ago... yet to receive any feedback. Cheers Russell, Could you let me know when the payment will be processed from my account? With Christmas fast approaching here in the UK, I really need to monitor my finances closely. My wife has rather extravagant tastes and has her heart set on a snow leopard this festive season! Best wishes, Royce Coolage

I received a follow-up email from this so-called Norton Tech, using a number they provided. It feels like the sort of drivel you'd expect from someone with the intellectual prowess of a goldfish trying to send a message!

Totally a scam, dont fall for it! This number is tied to loads of spam emails from "Norton Tech Services" tryin to charge you £449 plus tax for stuff they've supposedly done. None of it is legit. The company's fake, the charges are fake, everything about it is a con. Stay clear!

Got missed calls today from this number and a no caller ID too. Didn’t answer cause I didn’t know who was ringing!

I didn't receive a phone call, but I was sent an email that listed this number as the one to ring if any issues arose. The email was allegedly confirming a Norton subscription-something I definitely don't have-and it mentioned that a hefty sum of over £449 plus taxes had been deducted from my account yesterday (2nd Dec 22). Absolute nonsense, if you ask me! I'd strongly recommend steering clear of that number as well.

I keep getting emails featuring this phone number. "Transaction ID: 56149SW61357 Date of transaction: 3rd December 2022 This subscription includes protection for five household devices, cell phones included, along with network and internet security." Cell phones, you say? Five of them? Curious, isn't it? :-D

Received an email requesting £449.00 for a service renewal, complete with an invoice. Apparently, I can ring that number for a refund. Seems like a bit of a ploy to access my banking info, if you ask me.

I also received an email, which prompted me to look up the number and led me to this site. As someone who manages an IT firm, I can confidently say that we don’t utilise Norton. The real concern here is that those who are less tech-savvy are likely to fall victim to these scams. There were errors related to tax and other matters, all originating from a Gmail account.

Just like everyone else has mentioned, I've received a dodgy email regarding a Norton subscription linked to an address I haven't touched in over a decade! Quite baffling, if you ask me!

I’m in the same boat; it definitely has ‘spam’ written all over it. I can’t help but notice that the phrasing sounds rather off for British English.
