I've no idea who’s been trying to reach me, but I've had a string of calls claiming to be from Three, promising me some fantastic offers. The strange thing is, they didn't even have a clue what I was currently paying! So now, I've made it a habit to ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise.

I didn't pick up because the number was unfamiliar, and I don’t know anyone in Canterbury. Appreciate the feedback from others. I've now added this number to my block list.

I had a call from this number, and typically, I avoid speaking to unfamiliar voices. However, as I’m currently on the hunt for employment, I felt compelled to pick it up. Now, it seems the number has already been blocked. I did some digging on Google, and it led me to this site where I found all your comments. Much appreciated for sharing your experiences!

Utterly dodgy outfit. They've been ringing me up, pretending to represent Three. It's exactly the same bunch of con artists who already have my digits, and they seem to rotate through a myriad of different numbers while perpetually claiming to be from Three.

Received a dodgy call the other day. Definitely feels like a scam!

Received a call from someone purporting to be with 3 Network. The chap’s accent was quite pronounced and he introduced himself as Daniel. Interestingly, a few hours prior, I had an identical call from another number, also asserting to be with 3. It’s evident these are just dodgy scammers at play.

Received a call from 01227390534 earlier today. The person on the other end had a distinct Indian accent, which made it quite difficult to comprehend him. It took several attempts for me to gather that he was representing the mobile provider "3" and was eager to present me with a rather appealing offer. I made it clear that once my contract ends, I have no intention of renewing with them, to which he curiously inquired, "Why?" I stated outright that I'm not keen on receiving calls from individuals who are hard to understand and seem to be attempting to pull a fast one. He promptly hung up! I've since blocked the number.

Got a call from this number and at first it seemed legit. They claimed to be from Three but got all defensive when I mentioned it sounded like a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be EE with a so-called loyalty reward. I told them straight up they were scammy and asked for proof by email. They couldn’t explain why the call came from a Costcutter shop number in Exeter. They kept ringing back, but each time from a new number, really pushing it.

I got a call from 01843583777 saying there’s an EE deal with 45% off and a free Apple Watch. They asked me to give them a different number, 01227390534, for follow-up. When they started asking for my card info to set up the offer, I ended the call. Why should I give them payment info when EE already has it? Rang EE afterwards and they told me it’s most likely a scam.

Received a call from 01453 890308, they asked for someone called employee 3005 and mentioned the number 01227390534. Seems like a 02 scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from o2, saying they could give me a 45% discount - sounded dodgy straight away. The lady wanted me to share a passcode she said she’d text me and to reply to an email she’d send if I gave my email address. I told her I’d check with my local o2 shop first. She wasn’t bothered at all and gave me a name - Anna John, said her employee number was 3011, and told me to call back 01227 390534 after confirming with o2. What really set off alarm bells was her insisting it definitely wasn’t a scam. Be careful out there!

I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to represent O2, trying to entice me into moving my mobile service over to them with an enticing 45% discount. Curiously, the number they rang me from was 01382 779999, which I later found out belongs to a pizza takeaway in Dundee! When I inquired about a callback number, they provided me with 01227 390534, which is linked to Canterbury. The caller introduced himself as John Smith, sporting an unmistakable Indian accent, and mentioned employee number 3016. Clearly, this has all the hallmarks of a scam!

I’ve just had a rather dodgy call from O2, attempting to lure me into switching my mobile number over to them with an enticing 45% off. The number that rang me was 01382 779999, which bizarrely turns out to be linked to a pizza takeaway! The chap on the line told me to ring back at 01227 390534 and ask for someone named John Smith. He had quite a pronounced Indian accent and mentioned an employee number of 3016. Sounds like a total scam to me!

This number rang me up claiming they were from O2, but it felt like a scam. I phoned O2 directly and they said they had no connection with that caller. Best not to answer or share any info with them.

Received a call from a number starting with 02, claiming to offer free gifts and discounts. They ended up asking for my bank and account details. When I inquired about speaking to the representative Emma Roberts, she was the one who picked up the line. Watch out for these dodgy calls!
