Got a call supposedly from the traffic office about a crash, and they warned that if I didn’t answer, my car would get impounded. What really freaked me out was how much they seemed to know about me, that’s a bit scary.

Had a car crash recently and had to sort out a claim with my transport insurer. In the end, I got myself an independent solicitor on a no win no fee basis to help me out.

He introduced himself as Alex O’Connor from the Traffic Bureau, stating that he'd been contracted by the ABI to help with my son's car insurance issue. I'm a bit sceptical and wondering if he might be one of those pesky ambulance chasers.

Somebody rang me saying they were with the traffic dept and mentioned an accident supposedly from February that I was involved in. I never had any accident like that, so it’s definitely a scam. Total rubbish.

Just got a call from someone trying to get me to make a claim for a car accident. Felt a bit off, like it was just a scam or something. Didn’t really want to get involved, so I just said no and hung up. Has anyone else had those kind of calls? They’re proper annoying!
