Last week this number kept ringing me about pre paid funeral plans and life insurance, probably like 4 or 5 calls. I was polite and told them I wasn’t interested but they kept phoning anyway. So I decided to waste around 25 minutes on the phone with one of them, answering the same questions over and over just to keep them hanging. In the end, he just ended the call on me.

Got a text saying it was from HSBC customer support about a supposed online Apple purchase costing around £1700. I rang HSBC straight away to report what seemed like a dodgy attempt to grab my info. Watch out if they ask you to call back - they might try to get your bank details and the calls could be expensive. Also, they definitely didn’t sound like native English speakers. Stay careful!
