This number has been reaching out to us for several weeks, but I haven’t picked up, mainly due to being in places with poor signal or tied up with work commitments. However, every time I try to return the call, it disconnects unexpectedly. We hold an account with HSBC, and it seems these callers are trying to get in touch. That said, I can’t say for certain. We reside near Barnsley, and to the best of my knowledge, there isn't an HSBC call centre in this area.

I'm unable to figure out who gave me a ring or what it was about. It's quite baffling, really!

We've been inundated with phone calls from numbers we don’t recognise. It seems these callers are all linked to this site, with HSBC cropping up quite frequently. Curiously, the calls only started after we made the move from the UK to Saudi Arabia. They never leave a voicemail, which makes us reckon it can’t be anything of significance. Still, we can't shake the feeling that this might be some sort of scam!

I answered straight away when this number called, only to be met with a strange cacophony of static, before it suddenly cut off after about 13 seconds. Quite bizarre, isn’t it?

I've received calls from the numbers 01619519926 and 01226300100, and both seem to be linked to HSBC. They might be part of an outbound call centre or possibly a collections department? Just a thought!

I attempted to place a call just now, but I got a message saying, "the other party has disconnected." Does anyone happen to know who this might be?

We suspect this could be HSBC, as we received a call from their landline which we couldn’t get to in time, right before this number rang us on our mobile. The timing feels a bit too coincidental for our liking.

Received a fair few missed calls from this number while we were enjoying a holiday! Attempted to return the call, but they disconnected us! What's the story with 01226300098? Any ideas?

We reckon it could be HSBC making the rounds, as we've noticed their efforts to reach out to us lately. Yet, whenever we respond, there's nary a soul on the other end of the line. Consequently, it seems these callers are utterly inept in their attempts to connect with us. Quite the farcical situation, really!

Received a call at 17:44, but I missed it as I was busy with work. I have no idea who this number belongs to or what it's regarding.

Received a couple of missed calls from this number at around 11.45am. I didn’t answer as I was busy at work. We don’t hold an HSBC account, so there’s no reason for us to be contacted by this number, especially since we don’t know anyone in this vicinity. I tried ringing back, but the call drops immediately. Quite odd, really!

I've received quite a few missed calls from this number lately, and just the other evening, one of my workmates answered when they rang again. Apparently, they claimed to be from HSBC, which seemed quite dodgy since the call clearly originated from abroad. They wanted our colleague to confirm her banking information, which raised serious red flags! Absolutely not, no way! When I tried to call back, I just got a persistent engaged tone. Very suspicious indeed!

Our phone was switched off due to a dead battery. During that downtime, we noticed we missed four calls from this number-two calls came in within a short five-minute span around three o’clock, and then two more followed just a few minutes later at approximately half past eight.

Received a call from this number at 8:22 PM today. I can't help but wonder if anyone else was involved with the exhibition in Saltaire? I had to submit my work earlier today, so I'm curious if this could be related to that event somehow. Did anyone else experience this?

I didn’t bother to respond to this, yet they persistently keep calling us while we’re in the States! Honestly, who in their right mind would continue ringing as soon as they hear that unmistakable Indian tone?

I found this number logged as a missed call on my mobile and decided to give it a ring back using our home phone. Oddly enough, the line said that incoming calls aren’t accepted at that number. Strange, considering our mobile barely even dialled out before these folks called. It’s quite peculiar, so I'm inclined to steer clear of this number in the future. Date of the call: 7th February 2009.

I received a call earlier today from the number 01226300100, but when we tried to return the call, we were met with a message stating that "the caller has been disconnected." Quite odd, really!

I've been getting missed calls from this number, along with 0125749943, 01273731575, and a few 0161 numbers. It's becoming quite frustrating, especially since they ring around 10 in the morning and again at about 8 in the evening. As a nurse, I'm often on call, and these interruptions are causing quite a bit of hassle for me! I really wish someone could shed some light on who’s behind all this and what the purpose is. It’s starting to feel quite maddening!
