A chap reached out to me with an enticing offer for a new mobile, seeing as I'm a devoted customer. He insisted on a speedy ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ response since he didn’t wish to squander his time. The call came through to my work phone, but I’m not affiliated with Carphone Warehouse, so I had to inform him that he’d dialled the wrong number.

Received a rather unpleasant call from an individual purporting to be associated with Carphone Warehouse. The tone was quite off-putting, bordering on aggressive and downright intrusive.

I recently encountered a rather alarming situation where someone managed to infiltrate my Amazon account and tampered with my phone number. Thankfully, I was able to contact Amazon's Fraud team to rectify the issue. It turned out to be a genuine phone call from their end, which was quite a relief!

I received a call from a lady, possibly of Indian or Chinese descent, and her English was quite difficult to comprehend. I found myself lost in translation and decided to end the conversation.

When I called 01225 666024, I was greeted by a rather robotic voicemail that mentioned something about "Cosmos marketing." It went on to say that if I wished to unsubscribe, I should send them an email – all very tedious, if you ask me. Quite frankly, I have no clue who they are, so I’ve no intention of responding. Just another nuisance call, really!

It seems that the folks at Cosmos are trying their hand at a con.

When I inquired about the nature of the call, she mentioned something regarding a mobile. I promptly ended the call and added her to my blocked list.
