Got a call from someone saying they were from British Gas, asking me for the meter number. I reckon they were trying to switch our energy provider without permission. As soon as I refused to share any info, they just ended the call. Seemed really sketchy to me!

I told the woman she’d got the wrong number, but she just ignored me and kept going with her spiel non-stop. I ended up swearing at her pretty badly, but she didn’t stop - I had to hang up myself. Last week, I got a call from this guy. Borrowing a line from that old BBC show "’Allo ’Allo", I said, "Listen up, I’m only saying this once." I made it clear I wasn’t interested at all. Then, I went on to share with him some of the other comments I’d found on your site. After that, I just hung up and blocked his number straight away.

Got a call when I was at work and told them I was tied up, but they just carried on like I wasn’t there. The lady on the line kept going on about some worldwide thing I should join in with. Got fooled by a boiler room con. They keep ringing non stop, like literally just a minute after i hang up. This time they're showing an Aberdeen number prank on the caller ID, but it sounds just like the lot who had a fake London number bothering me a week ago. Same bunch for sure.

I got a call from this number earlier and the bloke on the other end asked for me by my actual name. I told him he had the wrong person. Then he said maybe the person gave out the wrong number, but kept going anyway. I had to cut him off and explain that the person he was after definitely isn’t at this number, so he can’t continue chatting. Since then, I’ve blocked the number. The guy sounded like he was from Eastern Europe, kinda had a thick Bulgarian accent or something.
