Got a call about some debts I supposedly owe, but I’m completely debt free! When I asked where they got my info from, they said something called the Debt Resolution Forum, but I Googled it and found out it doesn’t even exist anymore. Pretty obvious this is a scam. They’ve rung me three times in less than a day.

They always seem to ring at the most troublesome moments… like when I’m perched atop a ladder or fixing something on the roof, or worse, in some delicate situation with someone else's partner. The dialogue usually goes something like this: ME: Hello… anyone there? *A lengthy silence follows* HIM: Good day, sir! I’m reaching out to you about a survey… ME: Oh, do jog on with that nonsense!

Got a ring on this number from a lady speaking with an Indian accent. She said she was from Nationwide Debt Management Team, but as soon as I told her I don’t have any unsecured loans, she just hung up. Quite strange really.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Nationwide Direct, going on about some monthly debts I supposedly owe. Since I’ve never had an account with Nationwide, I told her so, and then she just ended the call on me - bit cheeky if you ask me. Now I keep ringing them back using a work line, asking for proof they're really from Nationwide, it’s quite funny!

Was really annoyed coz she kept suggesting my old dad was getting £1000 and kept mixing me up with my mum, who’s passed away. She ended the call laughing and just hung up on me.
