Got a call from 01224 052481, said they were from AMI about a crash. The bloke tried to sound American but when I questioned him he just hung up. Sounds like one of those offshore scam calls. If you get this number, don’t answer or report it to the cops and Action Fraud straight away. Total nuisance!

I received a call from this number, and it turned out to be a fraudulent scheme. The caller spun an absurd tale, claiming that I had been in a car accident a few months back-even though nothing of the sort happened, and it certainly wasn’t my fault. He was rather persistent, requesting my bank information to allegedly facilitate a so-called "insurance payout." Quite the cheek, really!
