Somebody rang me claiming to be from HMRC, saying there was a problem with my tax return, apparently filed wrongly by me or my boss, and that legal action was being taken. They asked if I needed a lawyer. It was so pushy and nerve-wracking. I told them I was sure the Ministry of Justice, my employer, wouldn’t be involved in anything like this and that I hadn’t made any mistake. Then they just cut me off. What a bunch of cheats!

Best to ignore this number! I received a call from someone claiming to be with Carphone Warehouse. When I requested that he erase my information from their records, he had the audacity to say, “Why don’t you just give me a nice favour and ‘take care of my needs’?” Absolutely vile behaviour!

On the evening of 25/09/21 around 7pm, I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who said he was ringing from Carphone Warehouse. I told him I wasn’t interested in any of their offers or services, and then he started to swear at me, throwing out loads of rude words about his body and personal stuff. In the end, I just ended the call.
