This number keeps ringing me repeatedly, and it's rather unsettling as they seem to know my name. It's really quite distressing, to be honest.

they phoned me loads saying i was in a car crash ages ago but couldn’t say what car or who insured me. when i joked around saying "oh was i hurt then?" and "should i give you my bank details to sort it?" she just ended the call quick sharp. classic scam!

They keep ringing and then hanging up on me!

This number kept ringing me over a few days. When I picked up, they said they had my info from an insurance renewal and that I’d made a claim in the past two years. That’s not true at all, but they still kept pushing, suggesting I might’ve been a passenger in a crash or something. They refused to say who they actually worked for or which insurer they were with. Feels like harassment and maybe even a scam. Worst part is, I reckon they’ll sell whatever dodgy info they’ve got on me. Thinking of changing my phone number because of this.

Think its a scam or somethin. Had a hard time figurin out the South African accent.

A woman rang me saying I’d been involved in a small accident and that she got this from my insurance renewal. I told her I haven’t had any sort of accident, big or small. She said she’d check. Then I asked which insurance firm she was talking about. She said she couldn’t say as she doesn’t work for them! I told her if you’re saying this is on my insurance renewal, you should know the company! It’s a load of rubbish. I get calls like this all the time, whether I’m at work or not. Why do they still let these calls through? I’m always having to block numbers.

This bloke was shouting at me saying I'd been in some accident, which I'm totally sure I haven't. He wouldn't stop going on about it, so I just had to put the phone down. Proper annoying.

I received a call from that number not too long ago, but as soon as I picked up, they disconnected. Quite peculiar!

Received a call from 01210592320. A young lady claimed she’d found on some RTA records that I’d been involved in a recent accident. I asked what the RTA stood for and she said ‘Road Traffic Accident department’. I kept questioning ‘department of what exactly?’, ‘where’s it located?’, ‘what’s their address?’ but she just kept pushing for me to confirm the accident. Eventually she just ended the call. For the record, I haven't been in any accident.

Muppets ringing up saying I’d been in some accident. I asked 'How exactly do you know that?' and the so-called superwoman goes, 'If it wasn’t true, I wouldn’t be ringing you.' Bloody cheek! Told her straight I’ve never had any accident and to stop calling cos it’s obviously a scam. She tried to say something else but I just ended the call. Don’t have a minute to waste on these rubbish calls!!!

Got a call on my job line then it just hung up. I haven't been in any crash or anything like that! If thats why you're calling, it really should be stopped!

Got called 9 times by this number yesterday, honestly felt like harassment. Told them the accident from a year and a half ago was all sorted and I was happy with how it was handled, then just hung up. Still, they kept ringing me.

When I asked which company they were from, they just said it was a department linked to the UK government!! Seemed dodgy right from the beginning! Ended up blocking them.

Loads of spam calls from various numbers, all pretty much the same, saying they're from some motor investigation about a claim I don't even have. I've blocked every single number they’ve used so far.

This bloke kept saying his name was William Turner and kept pestering me for my name. I didn’t say it, and he just got annoyed. Kept asking what he wanted but never actually told me. Added him to my blocked numbers now.

Some lady was pretty rude, kept asking me to say who I was. When I told her I was busy at work, she just ended the call straight away.

She claimed to be from "Motor Assist" about a crash I’d supposedly been in. Told her I never had an accident. Asked where she got my number from. She said it was from my car insurance. Since I don’t even have insurance in my name, that sounded dodgy. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

So, I received a call from some Australian lady who was fully convinced I’d been in an accident. I thought, why not play along for a bit? After a brief exchange, I asked her to hold on while I wrangled my pet turkey - it had somehow managed to escape from its enclosure. I went all out with the turkey sounds down the line, even shouting, “Get back here, you rascal!” for what felt like five solid minutes. Fair play to her, she stuck around through the whole spectacle! As the chat progressed, I casually inquired if she had any fondness for turkeys and whether they were a common sight where she lived. She kept insisting on the accident, to which I remarked that my turkey had once met with a mishap too. Inquired if he'd be insured for such a thing, only to hear her say no, which prompted me to state I wasn't interested in the conversation unless the turkey had some coverage. You could sense her annoyance building as I continued to make my turkey noises every time she spoke, claiming my feathery mate was just too rebellious to control. This cheeky exchange went on for nearly ten minutes! It’s become my go-to tactic for these types of calls. The longest I’ve held one of these banters was over 15 minutes. Honestly, I recommend you give it a go yourself - you never know, you might just get the same lady and leave her utterly baffled! The origin of the call? Cambridge in the UK, originating from Australia.

I received a rather unpleasant call from an Australian gentleman who was rather aggressive when I asked him to take my number off his list. He started to raise his voice, and when I mentioned the possibility of involving the authorities, he really lost his cool. I tried ringing back, but of course, he’s ignoring my calls now. He introduced himself as Michael, but honestly, it feels like I was dealing with someone unhinged. Once I accused him of harassment, the situation escalated, and he really began to shout. I recently received a call from this number claiming to be from an investigation agency. When I attempted to ring back since my signal was quite poor, the call wouldn’t connect and just cut off. The name that popped up was Monsoon. Quite odd, I must say!
