So, I got call from some investment firm, wanted to update me or something like that. I told him straight, “I never signed up for any of this.” Then he start asking about mortgage but said it was for some other company. I said, “Hey, you mentioned two companies now, what’s going on?” And before I could finish, he just cut the call without any explanation. Very strange behaviour, I tell you!

I received a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from UK Broadcasting. Strangely enough, he addressed me by a name I had once shared with a telemarketer ages ago, which I didn't feel inclined to rectify. He began questioning me about my washing machine, and I ended up detailing the one we swapped out about a month back. Curious about his origins, I asked where he was based, and he mentioned London. When I probed him for a specific address, he stated it as Road 16, Beverage Lane A123 8BB. I pointed out that the postcode didn’t seem to be of British origin, yet he was adamant that he was correct. I then prompted him to repeat it, after which he suggested I verify it online. With my laptop handy, I mentioned I would look it up. Just then, he abruptly declared he couldn’t wait around and hung up. Mind you, I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I really shouldn't be on the receiving end of such nuisance calls!

This number called me up the other day. A bloke with an Indian accent started asking about what investments I’ve made. When I asked him what that was for, he just cut off the call. I’ve also had a few calls from this number before, saying my washing machine insurance ran out. When I asked the lady what brand it was for, she didn’t have a clue.

I received a call from an individual with an Asian accent claiming to be from UK Broadcasting. He addressed me using a name I once provided to a telemarketer a while back, which I decided not to correct. His initial inquiry was about my washing machine. I shared details regarding the one we upgraded merely four weeks prior. Curiosity overcame me, so I inquired about his location, to which he responded, London. When I pressed him for his exact address, he provided "Road 16, Beverage Lane A123 8BB." I pointed out that the postcode didn’t align with valid UK formats, but he persisted that his address was accurate. I asked him to repeat it, while simultaneously browsing online. At that moment, he rushed me, stating he had no time to waste, and abruptly ended the call. As I'm registered with the TPS, such unsolicited calls shouldn't be coming through to me at all!
