I received a dodgy text from this number claiming that my one-time code for a transaction with John Lewis was “481113”. The funny thing is, I don’t even have an account with Santander. Plus, I haven’t shopped at John Lewis at all. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I got a dodgy text from 07419 880374 saying something about Santander and a one-time code for a £299.99 purchase at John Lewis. The message told me to ring +441218276095 if it wasn’t me. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with Santander. Both numbers seemed fishy to me. Pretty sure they were just trying to steal my banking info or something.

Check out the earlier posts - I had the same thing happen to me. They claimed to be from Santander and said they wanted to buy something at John Lewis. They told me to ring 44 1218276095 if it wasn’t me. The first call came from 44 7419725389. Definitely a scam, don’t bother calling them back!
