Having a gander at the remarks here, isn’t it a bit peculiar? What are the chances that I’ve suddenly forked out the very same sum as another individual and we’re both drawing a blank on it? Got a call claiming it was HSBC saying I'd made a purchase at Ikea and the payment would go through soon. Problem is, I’ve never shopped there and don’t even have an account with HSBC. When I rang back, I actually had the phone covered with a metal saucepan and gave it a good whack. Absolutely fed up with these rubbish calls!

He didn't provide any details about the company he was representing, but he had that typical call centre vibe about him.
