Don’t trust it, it’s a total scam. They claim they’re ringing about unfinished repairs on rented property, but that’s not how it works. I used to work in private rentals and now I rent through a housing association, and they always handle things directly with tenants. Seriously, never share your info with these callers, no matter what they say.

Got a call from some firm claiming they track down repairs that supposedly never got done and said they’d sort me out with some compensation. I let them ramble for a bit before telling them I needed to go and ended the call. Honestly curious how quick they’d ask for my bank details to send the ‘compensation’ - sounded like a total con to me.
