I usually don't pick up calls from unknown numbers, and if they fail to leave a message, I just block them right away. Honestly, I think everyone should try that. Maybe if these callers find no one available to talk to, they'll just stop bothering us!

Definitely looks like a SCAM to me. I attempted to ring back on my mobile but the line was always busy. Then I gave it a go from my landline too (mainly because I have mates in Birmingham). Seems dodgy!

So I picked up the phone and this woman asked if I spoke English, I just told her no! Then to end the call quickly, my kid let out a big fart into the phone and that did the trick lol.

got a call from a woman with a really strong indian accent, talking about some insurance claim we never made. when i said we hadn’t made any claim and asked her to stop calling, she just hung up on me. the number showed up like it was from nottingham or something.

Got a call from this number earlier but it stopped right after two rings. Didn’t leave a voicemail or anything. The number looks a lot like some others from Birmingham linked to insurance scams. I've gone ahead and put it on my blocked list now.
