This number called me several times, I picked up just cause it was a 0121 (Birmingham) code and it seemed legit when they talked about PPI. They sent me a form to fill out and said they’d call back to check I got it. After chatting with my son about it, I’ve decided not to sign anything or take any more of their calls.

It seems that they have deliberately programmed it to call me. It's definitely a marketing call and feels like harassment now.

Some bloke rang saying he was from 1st Solutions about credit card interest refunds - definitely sounded dodgy and messed up his story when I asked stuff. I've been inundated with calls from this number over the past few days. Each time, they're asking for a person who has never lived here. When I probed them about their identity and how they acquired my number, they were quite vague, mentioning something about 'recycled numbers' as if that was an explanation. I expressed my concerns regarding potential identity fraud, considering it seems like someone might be using my address and number without permission, yet they seemed uninterested in helping out. I insisted on having my number removed from their call list. After giving the number a ring back, I now know who they are, and should they dare to reach out again, I’ll be lodging a formal complaint through the proper channels.

What a rather audacious caller, full of herself, wouldn't reveal her identity at all. So, I decided to call the number back and lo and behold, it was a PPI sales pitch! - number: 0121 794 0003

I received a phone call from this number, and when I politely informed them that I was not interested in participating in surveys or receiving marketing calls, they responded in a very rude manner. They claimed that they were not a marketing company and even insinuated that I was foolish for not wanting to reclaim money before abruptly ending the call. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to lodge a complaint against this company. My advice would be to simply answer the call and immediately hang up. However, if you decide to call the number back, you have the option to press 1 in order to have your contact details removed from their database. Hopefully, this method proves effective, as dealing with these individuals is a complete waste of time. They are solely interested in profiting and taking a portion of any money you may be owed.
