2 monthsThis number 0121 732 9539 has been ringing me quite a few times. My approach with unknown callers is simple - if they’re genuine, they’d normally say who they are and why they’re calling. Since they never do, I just ignore it.2 yearsI got a ring from this number, saying it was about my mobile contract. When I asked them to confirm the name they had on the account, they told me they couldn’t share that because of GDPR rules. After that, I just hung up.2 yearsGot a call on my work number from someone saying they wanted my thoughts on my O2 deal. When I probed a bit, I realised they were actually from this cold call firm yourmobile.com, trying to gather details so they could switch me to another contract and earn a commission. I ended the call as soon as I asked them to verify my previous chat with O2 and they couldn’t give me a straight answer.O22 yearsI got a call for the second time now offering to upgrade the business lines on my account, supposedly from some "third party" connected to my phone company. I kept telling them my phone showed the number as sketchy and that I wasn’t interested in anything today. The line suddenly dropped while they were still trying to get a word in, I was trying to explain myself but ended up getting cut off... felt kinda dodgy to me.2 yearsSounds like a dodgy phone contract scam to me. The best thing to do is just ignore it and block the number straight away.Submit Your Own Report (0121 732 9939)
