In the last three days, this number has bombarded me with a staggering 13 calls. They keep insisting they're acting on behalf of the government, trying to rope me into scheduling a meeting with an Independent Financial Adviser concerning my pension choices. Frankly, it all seems rather dodgy to me!

He paused then said he was with the gov pensions, moving private pensions around to get the best deal (yeah right, as if the government really cares about us when we retire lol) and wanted my info. I told him to tell me what info he had on me. got the pension company wrong, next one wrong, then another wrong, and even the pension amount was off. I told him i keep my money with phishing-scammers and thieves Ltd and then he just hung up. I wonder why...

This number buzzes me several times a day, but as soon as I pick up, they just hang straight away. They've been ringing my partner too, leaving messages about something called “Industrial Hearing Loss”. Just now, I decided to ring them back and got a recorded message, again mentioning “Industrial Hearing Loss”. When a woman finally answered, she just said “hello?” without any proper intro or explaining how they got my details. I could hear a TV in the background, which was odd - not like a typical call centre hum at all. I asked her to remove my number from their list, no idea how they got it in the first place, and she just said “okay” and hung up immediately. Feels really sketchy to me! The number is 0121 732 9938.

01217329938 keeps ringing me two or three times daily - both on my mobile and landline. I've managed to block them on the landline, but they just call twice then hang up. Can't block the mobile, which is really annoying. If you try calling back on the mobile, it charges 25p a minute, so definitely avoid that. They’re supposedly on the TPS, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. If this is a UK number, their behaviour is definitely not lawful.

When I asked them where they got their info from or who keeps the records, he had no clue and just ended the call.

They rang me up asking if I’d worked in a loud factory setting before. Knew my name straight away, so they must've got info from somewhere. I just told them I wasn’t interested in what they were trying to sell or talk about.

I received a rather dubious call the other day, where the individual on the line, introducing himself as Nigel, seemed to know my name. He claimed that either I or my husband, whom he mentioned by name, had ties to the industry. He went on to say that he had sourced our number from the national workers' database and that we were eligible to file a claim for hearing loss due to a past employer neglecting to provide proper hearing protection, a clear violation of the 1963 regulations. Complete nonsense, if you ask me! I informed him that we were registered with the Telephone Preference Service and requested to be taken off his list. Nigel assured me that he would sort that out promptly.

I just received a rather strange cold call from these individuals. They claimed to have acquired my number from the National Workers Database and wished to have a word with Mr (My surname). Perplexed, I inquired why they needed to speak to him, especially as there's never been a Mr (Mrsurname) residing here. Their justification was utterly ludicrous, stating it was because he had previous experience working in a factory! The whole exchange felt absurd and concluded with the caller insisting he would ring back tomorrow to chat with my husband! Rest assured, that's one call I shan't be picking up.
