Got a call from some Indian call centre calling itself "The Phone House," claimed they were based in Birmingham. The lady said her name was Emma. When I asked why she was pretending to be from Birmingham, she rudely told me to "shut up!" and then just cut me off. I've blocked the number and reported the scam.

Got a call claiming I could get 40% off my phone plan, supposedly because I was an O2 customer. They asked for my email to begin the deal. Thing is, I’m not even with O2. When I mentioned that, they quickly said they could give me the same discount if I was with Vodafone, O2, or giffgaff. Plus, I’m not tied into any contract anyway. Definitely a scam, steer clear.
