Allegedly, he’s masquerading as a representative from HMRC, targeting unsuspecting individuals, including genuine HMRC clients. This behaviour is quite concerning and surely warrants some attention from the authorities. I attempted to highlight this on Twitter, but had to delete my message due to threats of account suspension. Interestingly, this number tried to reach me, but I chose to ignore the call!

I received a call from this number, but just as I was about to pick up, it disconnected. Curiosity got the better of me, so I rang back to find out who was on the other end, and lo and behold, it was an O2 voicemail!
