Earlier today, on the 18th of October, I received a message from a woman claiming to offer a refund. I must say, I had no anticipation of receiving any such reimbursement, which leads me to believe this is quite likely a phishing scam.

Greetings everyone, I recently found myself engaged in an unexpectedly lengthy chat with a gentleman who sounded as though he might be situated in Asia, judging by his accent. He claimed there were issues with my internet service and insisted I visit a particular website to input some information. When I inquired about my internet service provider, he stumbled and got it completely wrong. After a bit of back and forth, I informed him that his call was nothing short of fraudulent and that I would be reporting it to the authorities. To my surprise, he then threatened to come to my residence. I rather cheekily told him to "bring it on." His response? “If I arrive in half an hour and you’re not home, I’ll kill you.” Rather taken aback, I retorted with a rather colourful insult, and he promptly hung up. It’s been an hour since, and unsurprisingly, the blighter hasn’t shown up. Clearly, this is a scam. Please refrain from engaging with such calls, and should you, feel free to tell them where to shove it! Wishing you all a splendid day!

Got a recorded message with a really English accent saying I had some unclaimed refund. I'd steer clear of pressing 5 to get it or 9 to stop the calls - probably just a pricey trap.
