I never had any accident, so I figured it was a con right away. Told them I'd only speak if they were really my insurer. Watch out, they almost sounded like cops at first.

I asked to talk to a supervisor and got Daniel Fletcher, who said the company was "Claim Investigations" from Manchester. I told them if they keep calling, I’ll be charging £20 an hour, with a minimum of £40.

A woman with what sounded like a foreign accent called me and called me by my first name. She started asking stuff about my "gas meter card." I told her I had no clue what she meant. Then she went on like, "You know, the card you use to add credit to your gas supply." After that, she wanted to know who supplies my gas. I asked her where she got my details from since I don’t even have that service. She snapped back, "No need to raise your voice, it’s just a call," and then she hung up on me.
