I have no acquaintances in Birmingham, so I decided to disregard the call, thinking it was probably some sort of scam.

This morning, I was greeted by the unwelcome surprise of a missed call from this number. Curiously, when I checked on this website, there weren’t any reported issues associated with it, which led me to believe it might not be one of those pesky sales calls. However, after a bit more digging a few hours later, it seems like there are now indeed some reports. Looks like another scammer has chosen Saturday morning to launch their little operation, just to jolt everyone from their slumber!

I received a phone call from a woman inquiring whether I’d been involved in an accident. It felt suspiciously like it was a pre-recorded message.
