Got a call from someone saying they were from Global Services. The guy first said his name was Nick, then a minute later changed it to Daniel. I told him to figure out what his name actually was! He started going on about energy prices, but I told him I wasn’t interested and just ended the call while he kept babbling.

Got a call from a man with an accent, he didn’t even know my name and kept asking to speak to the phone’s owner. He kept saying he just needed a minute to ask some questions but never said which company he was with or why. Felt a bit dodgy so I ended the call.

A bloke rang me a couple of minutes back on my mobile, asked for me by name. I said sorry, can't hear you properly and then ended the call. I got a similar call yesterday from a guy using the number 01312853172, which was really from a mobile since I could hear wind in the background. Definitely felt like some cold calling.

This bloke sounds sketchy, he already knows your name, address and phone number but still trying to pry for more info. Never ever answer yes to anything, I just flat out said no on everything. If he keeps pushing for your name or address, just tell him to jog on proper rude like and he’ll hang up quick enough.
