He seemed to have some information about me-presumably based on my age, which is over sixty! We had a bit of a chinwag, where I posed several inquiries that clearly didn't sit well with him. When he requested the spelling of both my first and last names, I politely declined, pointing out that he had already used my surname, so I expected him to spell it back to me for confirmation. Suddenly, the line went dead, and then he terminated the call. While he claimed the service was complimentary, it turned out to involve a daily membership fee of 99p, or a reduced rate if paid upfront. Do they really think we older folks are gullible? Quite the cheek!
