4 yearsWhat an annoyance!4 yearsGot a call from Secure Home Care about our plumbing and drainage. Not sure what it was about exactly but seemed like some sort of service or cover they offer. Just thought I’d mention it in case anyone else got the same.4 yearsI received a call from someone claiming to represent the Estate Protect Group based in South West London. They were discussing some recent changes in government policy that supposedly jeopardised my property should I need to enter a care home. There were quite noticeable lags between my inquiries and his responses. A lot of what he said seemed quite formulaic, often repeating phrases like “I see”, “go ahead” and “I’m still getting the hang of it”. It didn’t take long for me to realise I was likely conversing with a voice recognition system that was processing my questions and trying to respond accordingly. When I tossed out some nonsense just to test it, “he” struggled to keep up and eventually gave up altogether, ending the call. Quite a peculiar experience! I’ve flagged this number as potentially hazardous; it’s the sort of thing that might catch someone unawares.Estate Protect GroupSouth West London4 yearsAbout an hour back, I got a ring from this number. I wasn’t home at the time, but since I've got BT true call set up to block annoying calls and there was no voicemail left, I’m guessing it was just some kind of scam.4 years01209 707870 called me, but I didn't pick up and there wasn’t even a voicemail.
