This guy is all over the place - one minute he's pushing solar panels, then next it's driveways, sometimes loft insulation and now he’s banging on about care home fee protection. I asked him if he’d had any luck selling loft insulation earlier and he just hung up on me. Proper professional scammer, spinning the wheel all the time!

Got a call out the blue, even though I'm signed up to the TPS. The person said something like 'State Protection Services' or maybe 'Estate Protection' - not entirely sure. They began chatting about the expenses linked to elder care, but I cut them off and ended the call straight away. They were quite polite, but it smelt like a scam to me. Feels like a waste of time. Got a call from some bloke called Steve claiming to be from "Estate Protection Services". He was trying to flog some dodgy plan to dodge care home costs, which honestly sounds rubbish. When I asked for more details about the company, he couldn’t give me a straight answer. FYI, there’s a proper company called Estate Protection Services Ltd, but this lot are nothing to do with them. They even say they’re registered with GPS or something. Total scam, watch out!

Just got a call from this number, saying my boiler and heating cover was moving to another firm to save me money on the tariff. I tried to say I never signed up with them, but the bloke wouldn’t let me speak at all. Kept going on about the switch. Finally I asked if he needed my bank info, he said "YES". So I told him "No chance, I’ve only got ten quid in there" and just ended the call.

Every time I asked about any charges, he dodged the question until he finally admitted it costs 99p a day after the trial, which adds up to over £360 yearly. Hardly free at all. I looked up the company online and found several warnings labeling it a scam, so I dug deeper. I told John it was wrong to target vulnerable folks with this kind of call.
