Couldn't get through, just went straight to voicemail and didn't leave any message. I've seen others say it's some kind of health-related scam so beware.

Phone rang but went to voicemail, and since no message was left, I’m guessing it was either a sales call or some kind of scam.

Got a call with nothing but silence on the line. Sometimes I wish I could just "blame the poor guy on the other end." Pretty sure it was just one of those dodgy scam calls.

No greetings or anything, just dived straight into this whole spiel about medical alert necklaces. Then they asked me why I was picked for the call. I didn’t catch it right away so I said, “Can you say that again?” When I didn’t answer, they just kept going on like it was on speaker or something because the sound changed, explaining why it’d be useful. I just ended the call!

There's one company that rang me saying it was some kind of due diligence thing, checking if there's any damp issues in my house. Can't quite recall their name. Funny enough, they called again yesterday but from a different number.

Got a call earlier today when I was out, but no voicemail or anything left behind. The number’s not familiar and I don’t know anyone from Redruth around here. They haven't rung again either!

Skipped the pleasantries and went straight into a lengthy chat about medical alert devices. I inquired about the reason I was chosen for this call and had to ask them to repeat their answer. When I didn’t respond, they just carried on, and I noticed the sound quality shift, as if they were using speakerphone, while they extolled the advantages. I decided I’d had enough and ended the call!

I got a call from this John bloke saying he was calling from 'Medical Alert'. He asked if I was over 50, then every time I tried to ask anything, he just kept going back to the same script. When I finally asked about the cost, he said it was 99p a day. Honestly, it felt like a dodgy scam to me. Watch out, folks!

I got a call from someone saying they were from "The Medical Alert Centre," spoke with a proper English accent. They said I was eligible for some kind of alarm pendant or buzzer. Could have been a genuine cold caller, but it felt dodgy since they only had my number and didn’t even know my name. Kept probing me for details, which made me suspicious. Didn’t fancy getting into a debate, so I just ended the call. Well, better that than the usual fake BT ones you get all the time.

I got a call from a guy named John claiming to be from the Medical Centre. He said I was on a list for people over 50 who might need a free alert system. Thing is, the connection kept cutting out and each time he rang back, he asked me to say stuff over again. It seems like a nice idea for folks living alone, but all the dropped calls made me suspicious it might be a scam. So yeah, I just hung up in the end.

Some bloke called himself John and claimed he was ringing from ‘Medical Alert’. He told me their system showed I qualified for one of their medical alert pendants, then straight away asked if I was above 58 years old. I got a bit wary right away and asked what the whole medical alert gadget was about. He said it was something you could wear, like a belt, necklace or on your wrist. But as he was going on, the call just cut off - I reckon he hung up once he realised I wasn’t buying it.

I got a call from someone saying his name was JOHN, telling me I qualified for a medical alert bracelet and started asking how old I was. I ended up just hanging up. About 45 minutes later, the same voice and 'JOHN' called me back, this time claiming he was with Driveway Solutions and that I could get a new tarmac driveway. I told him he’d just called about a completely different thing earlier, and then he just said goodbye and hung up.

I just got a call from somewhere called Medical Alert Agency, and they were trying to sell me those emergency alert bracelets or pendants. Seemed like they really wanted me to buy something for safety reasons, but I wasn’t really interested. Not sure if it was legit or just another sales trick. Felt like a pushy kind of call.

Received an unwanted sales call earlier today. Some bloke was rambling at an astonishing pace about a medical facility, hardly stopping to let me interject or clarify where he was ringing from. He abruptly ended the call when I asked him to take a breather. Quite the experience, I must say!

Got a call from this number on my home phone, but all I got was silence when I answered. I kept trying to say “hello,” but no one spoke back - definitely a scam. My advice: don’t pick up, and if you do, never say “yes” or “no” because scammers might stitch those words together from your voice and make a false recording to trick you into “agreeing” to something.

had a call from a bloke with a really posh accent, kept reading off his script no matter what questions i asked. he said he was from some medical alert company and wanted to know if i was over 50. i wasn’t having any of it and told him exactly what i thought, telling him where he could shove it in no uncertain terms!

I just got a call saying there are only a couple spots left around here, and I could grab one if I agreed to give a review after trying it out for two weeks. They said I’d get a free alarm pendant for those two weeks, then it’d be 99p a day afterwards. Felt like they were trying to catch me out though, ended the call before they started asking for card info - do they really think we’re that daft? Guess the answer’s yes, unfortunately.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with Medic Alert, and they were keen to promote their so-called “life-line” service, insisting it was complimentary, which sounded rather fishy to me.
