Got another call from someone who wouldn’t say a word when asked to leave a message. Looks like my number isn’t the only one they’ve been dialing. I’ve blocked them now.

Got a call from this number on my home phone at 8.39 in the morning. I didn’t pick up but had a feeling it was some kind of scam. Proper businesses usually don’t start ringing people before 9am, especially ones on the TPS list. These calls aren’t from genuine firms at all - they couldn’t care less what time they phone or if you’re on a no-contact list. Their goal’s always the same, either to get your personal info or to try and swindle you out of cash.

Just got a missed call from this number, and judging by the other comments, it looks like it’s been active for a few years now, even though the replies are from like 4 years ago.

Somebody rang saying they were with Carphone Warehouse, but actually said they were calling for Vodafone, who had apparently shared my number with them. When i asked how that could be legal with GDPR rules, they just ended the call on me.

I received a call today from an unknown number, and I haven't a clue who it might be.

I was jolted awake by a call from this number. The line was dreadful, filled with background clatter that sounded like a chaotic household-definitely someone juggling work and a few kids. The voice on the other end had a peculiar mix of an American and Filipino accent, making it nearly impossible to catch what they were saying. In the end, I decided to just hang up as I couldn't make sense of it.

His grasp of English was frankly appalling, and he had the audacity to ask me, “How are you today?” Can someone tell me where these twits come from, and perhaps more critically, how they got hold of my number? Instead of being polite, he just told me to “shut up right now”. I thought that was incredibly rude so I just ended the call. These companies really ought to be fined for stuff like that….
