I’ve got my iPhone all set to block calls from numbers that aren’t saved in my contacts. Whenever I get a mystery call, I look it up on Who-Called.co.uk first, then I block it if it seems dodgy❗️ Honestly, I’ve never heard of Redruth before, so no idea why anyone from there would be ringing me‼️🤣🤣

I got a phone call from someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, but it honestly sounded like it was from some call centre in India. They were pushing a "Black Friday deal" for an S20, two years for just £25 a month - way too good to be true! When I asked why it was so cheap, the woman just passed me onto her supervisor. Watch out though, because they follow up with an email that looks legit at first glance, but it's actually a fake. Definitely a scam - stay cautious!

Got a call from a woman saying she was with 02 and offering a 25% discount. I told her I was actually with Vodafone and she just said alright, sorry for the trouble, and hung up. If she really worked for 02, they’d probably know for sure. Pretty sure I’ll get another one soon pretending to be from Vodafone 😂

I received a rather bizarre phone call from what purported to be Carphone Warehouse, but it was clearly a foreign call centre. They insisted on knowing how they obtained my number, which struck me as odd. When I probed further about their incessant calls, one of the blokes said something outrageous along the lines of, “It’s because I've had relations with your daughter,” and then they promptly disconnected. Quite the shocking experience, to say the least!

I received a phone call from a woman who had a pronounced Indian or Asian accent, coupled with the unmistakable hustle and bustle of a call centre in the background. She claimed to represent Carphone, proposing a new mobile contract that would cost me an extra £40 a month. Apparently, they would take care of my current contract on my behalf. Ha! That might appeal to some, but considering my existing deal is far cheaper, it didn't quite entice me. I decided to end the conversation and promptly blocked the number.

I got a call from 012093200211, an Indian guy who claimed he was from carphone warehouse. He said he found my number through Vodafone and told me to remove it from their list and stop calling me. I told him Vodafone isn’t allowed to share my details with anyone, and then he just hung up. Definitely a scam call. Make sure you block this number and report it by texting 7726.

Well, it’s clearly just another one of those Indian call centres, isn’t it? Quite predictable, really. They had the audacity to ring me from 01209320009 just last night as well. I picked up both calls, and as usual, there was an interminable pause before the line finally connected. Then I overheard some chap yammering away in a language I couldn’t even begin to understand. I wasn’t having any of it, so I gave him a piece of my mind and promptly blocked both numbers.
