I received a call from someone claiming to be from Car Phone Warehouse, but as I hadn't made any purchases, I decided to end the conversation. Surprisingly, they attempted to contact me again-ten times, no less!-within the space of an hour, using several different numbers that were all quite similar. Quite the persistent lot, I must say!

They hang up straight away or are impossible to understand. The calls are nonstop, like 2 or 3 times every hour all day. It’s really messing with my home life and work. I’ve tried blocking the number but they just keep ringing from slightly different numbers, changing the last two digits every time. This has gone way beyond annoying - it’s proper harassment. Someone really needs to step in and put an end to this, maybe even take legal action!

I received a call claiming to be from Three mobile, inquiring about my current plan costs. Oddly enough, as an existing customer, I would have assumed they already had that information. The call had a distinctly foreign call centre vibe, and their command of English left much to be desired. I’ve had similar experiences with call centres in the past, so I brushed it off initially. They presented an intriguing offer; however, the moment I began probing about the specifics of the plan, they hurriedly transferred me to a “supervisor.” Then, suddenly, they wanted my personal information to proceed, which raised an alarm bell for me - how come they didn’t have my details in the first place? When I challenged them to verify they were indeed Three mobile, their representative claimed he couldn't compel me to share anything. I then firmly stated I wasn’t interested and the line went dead. Curious, I later searched the number and, sure enough, my instincts were spot on.

This is 100% a spam call. They said they were from Car Phone Warehouse, but the numbers are all the same except for the last two digits changing. The worst part was them getting really rude and calling me all sorts of nasty names like a F***ing B**** and other horrible stuff. Avoid these numbers for sure.

I had previously changed my phone number after a decade of receiving incessant spam calls, only for the harassment to start anew. I’m particularly bothered since I hardly share my number; only my phone provider, my bills, work-related contacts, and a handful of friends have it. It’s quite scandalous how these outfits manage to get hold of personal numbers and continue to pester us. I can’t help but feel there’s a serious breach of GDPR here!
