Just had a right numpty attempting to pull a fast one, claiming to be from Virgin Media. I let loose with a barrage of choice words, and wouldn’t you know it, he hung up in a jiffy! Honestly, there’s no point in showing any sort of decency to these chancers. They wouldn’t hesitate to con your grandma if given the chance.

I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise and block them straight away. If it's important enough for them to get hold of me, they’ll leave a voicemail, so I don’t bother picking up those unknown calls.

I got a call from someone calling herself Jessica, but I’m pretty certain that wasn’t her real name. The number suggests it’s from Redruth, England, but when asked, they told me an address on 1 Portal Way in London - and they didn’t even give a postcode. Strange!
