I picked up and some bloke with a really thick Indian accent said he was ringing from the Carphone Warehouse Promotions team. When I asked him who he was, he said it again. Then I asked why he was calling me and he just started yelling before hanging up. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

I picked up and could hear someone speaking what sounded like Chinese, with laughter in the background. When I asked who was calling, they just hung up straight away.

When I answered, a man’s voice came through but was quite unclear, saying he was calling from somewhere I couldn’t understand. I asked how he had got my number since I’m on the TPS list, and he just kept repeating he was from that mystery place and had some special deals for me. I told him again to take me off their list as I’m registered with the TPS, then ended the call.
