I picked up the phone only to be met with a chap sporting a thick Indian accent, purporting to be from the Promotions team at Carphone Warehouse. When I asked who he was, he just reiterated his name, which didn't help much. I then asked him what exactly he wanted, and he started yelling at me before abruptly disconnecting the call! Quite the dubious encounter, I must say!

I asked how he had got my number since I’m on the TPS list, and he just kept repeating he was from that mystery place and had some special deals for me. I told him again to take me off their list as I’m registered with the TPS, then ended the call.
