Got a call from someone with a foreign accent talking about moving house or something, but I honestly couldn’t make much sense of it. Told em they’d got the wrong number and just ended it there. Even though I’m on the no call list, didn’t feel like dragging the convo out to explain that.

It feels like a ruse to manipulate you into allowing them to reset your password and gain access to your account to order new devices. Be wary!

I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent asking what phone I was using, promising to hook me up with a better deal. There was loads of noise in the background. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he suddenly started shouting and even called me stupid! When I asked why he was being so aggressive, he said I’d “made him angry.” I managed to keep him talking for about 3 minutes just to drag it out. Honestly, just block the number and don’t bother.

This number’s called me a couple times already. The first time, I got into a proper argument with the bloke, who kept calling me ‘darling’ and ‘love’ - which was weird since I’m a guy. Midway through our shouting match, he still went ahead with his sales spiel like nothing happened. Now I just tell them I’m recording the chat and will be reporting it straight away.

For starters, I’ve never bought anything from Carphone Warehouse, and secondly, no professional company would have some lad yelling out "Helloooooo" like that! Looks like a phishing attempt to me.

Got a suspicious sales call from some Indian bloke, sounded like he might’ve been calling from Hyderabad or somewhere near by the way he spoke. Went on about some rubbish to do with upgrading to Telephone Preference Management (not the usual TPS), said if I didn't do it I’d get bombarded with marketing calls starting tomorrow. Lucky it’s the weekend, won’t answer anyway!

Got a call from someone saying they were going to upgrade my Telephone Preference Service. I told them I didn’t want any changes because it’s fine as it is. Then I just ended the call and blocked that number straight away.

Had a call from a lady with a foreign accent claiming to update my telephone preference service. Out of nowhere, she started asking about my debit card details. I was a bit suspicious and asked why she needed that info for the update. She snapped back, saying it was to check if I was paying my phone bills properly. When I pressed her again, she said my preference service couldn’t be updated and then just hung up on me.
