I keep getting calls from scammers who keep tweaking their number just a bit so they don't get blocked. The TPS doesn’t seem to do anything about it, it’s quite useless honestly. There should be a proper ban on all telemarketing, and anyone selling phone details should face big fines, with their bosses possibly getting criminal charges. It’s ridiculous how this keeps happening!

Received a call purporting to be from Virgin Mobile, suggesting they had a more favourable mobile deal for me. However, things took a turn when they started probing for personal information, including my bank account specifics. Given that I’m an existing Virgin Media customer, I found it rather odd that they would need that information again. My instincts kicked in, and I decided to decline their request and hang up the phone. Quite the cheeky approach, if you ask me!

Upon answering the call, I was greeted by the unmistakable sound of an automated dialing system, followed by a rather lengthy silence. Eventually, a chap with a foreign accent introduced himself as being from ‘Phone House Ltd’. However, when I mentioned that I wasn’t familiar with that business, he seemed to lose his train of thought and promptly disconnected the call. Clearly, I must have deviated from his pre-prepared script, leaving him a bit flummoxed! Without a doubt, it's a scam, so I've made sure to block the number and report it.
