A lady rang me claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, chatting about an upgrade to an iPhone 11 for just £20 a month. Oddly enough, we’ve never had any dealings with Carphone Warehouse before! Plus, £20 a month for a relatively new iPhone on a contract seems incredibly low. To top it off, the number doesn’t even link back to Carphone Warehouse. When I mentioned I wasn't keen, she turned quite aggressive in trying to persuade me.
