I got a call this morning from a number starting with 01208... and according to this site, it was a scam. There’s also been another dodgy number going about, starting 0208 07914..., which turned out to be a scam as well. Today in the afternoon, I answered a call from a 0208 number but it suddenly ended and then changed to a different number. Seems like these are all automated calls using fake locations.

I had a hard time making out the person on the phone, their English wasn’t very clear at all. You could hear a lot of noise in the background, sounds like they were in some call centre abroad because I caught bits of some foreign language being spoken.

I've been getting calls every couple of days from this number, but they never say anything or leave a voicemail. Quite annoying really.
