I received a rather insistent and shifty phone call from someone claiming to be from EE. To be sure, I rang EE directly and found out that this number is definitely not theirs.

01208 247361 I looked up this number and it shows up as Tap Gateway Ltd (DIDcomms - Virtual UK). I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, so I wouldn’t expect to be getting unsolicited calls from any genuine company! I’m definitely going to report them to the TPC now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, but I’m suspicious it's not really them. Sounds dodgy to me, like some kind of scam attempt. Always best to double-check before giving out any info.
