Got a call from someone saying they were from a broadband company but I don’t even have broadband set up. Totally a scam, absolute worst kind of people.

Got a call from someone claiming to be PC World, but then they started saying weird stuff to my 14-year-old daughter, telling her she sounded lovely and wanting to meet up. My sister pretended to be her and told him off for being dirty, but he kept going on about wanting to do things with her. When I finally got on the phone and asked who he was, he just hung up.

I reckon it was an Indian bloke calling, asking something about my phone network. I couldn’t make out what he was saying properly, plus I was busy shopping, so I just ended the call.

Funny thing is, Franzcom Ltd is the local provider around here, based in Bodmin. It’s kinda weird, so maybe someone should let them know someone’s using their network for scams. Might help stop this mess!

I didn’t pick up cause it felt dodgy. Just had to make sure it wasn’t a scam, so I looked it up here before I went ahead and blocked the number.

Honestly, they totally deserve to have their phone flooded with spam texts or calls from a bot. Just tie up their line nonstop, that’d teach em a lesson!

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent claiming she could cut my water bill by 40%. She mentioned losing clients during the COVID times or something like that. I didn’t bother talking and just went ahead and blocked the number. Later, I looked it up online and from what people were saying, it looks like a total scam!
